<br />?1;C ~hg <br /> <br />and it was referred to Dave Barber, Regional Planning Director. <br />Pat Rerucha, 503 O'Neill Circle, requested to speak to the board <br />concerning the recycling project. She stated that the recycling <br />is a good project. Ray Quandt, 8937 North Quandt Road, stated <br />that if it is a good project there would be nothing to hide, but <br />he is concerned what would happen if there was a flood. Tim <br />O'Neill stated that the Army Corp of Engineers requested that the <br />shingles be moved to higher ground and that was done. Trailers <br />were placed around the shingles to keep them from blowing away. <br />Joe O'Neill stated that this recycling process may seem <br />unconventional but it is used coast to coast and there is a need <br />to find an alternate use for the debris. When they purchased the <br />machine there were only 5 companies that manufactured them but <br />now there are 20 companies. This matter will be reviewed by the <br />conditional use committee, Dave Barber, Bruce Dart and Jerry <br />Janulewicz. <br /> <br />9:40 a.m. Break <br /> <br />9:50 a.m. Returned to session. <br /> <br />APPROVE RESOLUTION TO WITHDRAW COLLATERAL WITH FIVE POINTS BANK: <br />Lancaster made a motion and Stelk seconded to approve resolution <br />#97-0056. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Stelk all voted <br />yes. Quandt abstained and Hartman was absent for the vote. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: Lancaster - She attended the audit <br />committee meeting last Tuesday to prepare for the Thursday and <br />Friday informal meetings with the elected and appointed <br />officials. She attended the anniversary events at Stuhr Museum <br />and Governor Nelson and Senator Hagel were present. She attended <br />the joint City-County meeting on the Health Department budget and <br />there will be a long-range planning meeting today at noon. <br /> <br />Abernethy - She conducted a tour of the Courthouse for a group of <br />children and they visited one of the court rooms while they were <br />in session. She attended the informal budget meetings and the <br />celebration at Stuhr Museum. She read the list of individuals <br />who serve on the prison advisory committee and also attended the <br />joint meeting with the City on the Heath Department budget. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the tower committee meeting, the joint <br />meeting with the City on the Health Department and the informal <br />meetings with the elected and appointed officials on the budgets <br />and the audit committee meeting on last Tuesday. <br /> <br />Hartman - He returned to meeting at 10:00 a.m. He attended the <br />informal budget meetings on Thursday. <br /> <br />Stelk - She attended the celebration at Stuhr Museum and the <br />tower committee meeting. The specs were reviewed by committee <br />and they hope to open bids by September 2, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. <br />They are hoping to move the old building that is on the property. <br />
