Heartland Vision will be holding a town-hall <br />meeting September 18. She attended the College Park Board <br />meeting and Bill Marshall replaced Jan Thayer as chair. She <br />attended the Board of Equalization meeting and the audit <br />committee meetings. <br /> <br />low <br /> <br />~ . <br /> <br />also <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended the Midland Area Agency on Aging meeting <br />and reported that Jerry Ryan has been the director for 20 years. <br />The executive board voted to give a 3% increase. MAAA did not <br />ask for an increase in their budget and they will be receding <br />funds from the State. She also attended the Board of <br />Equalization meeting and the audit committee meeting. Lancaster <br />reported that the audit committee recommended to hold informal <br />meetings with the department heads to review their budgets <br />Thursday and Friday of this week. This would be with less than a <br />quorum of the County Board members. Stelk stated she thought <br />these meetings were to be held August 4 to 8 and the full board <br />was to talk to the officials to discuss the budgets. The final <br />budgets would not be submitted until August 4. <br /> <br />NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Landis questioned how the ag-Iand <br />values were set up by the Area 4 Ag-Iand Board and if Hall County <br />had a representative. Hartman stated he had attended the <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to adjourn the meeting. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.
