~~/~ HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JUNE 17, 1997 The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session and by published call in the Hall County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Huey Long. INVOCATION: Invocation was given by Vice_Chair Irene Abernethy. ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman, Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Huey Long and Gary Quandt. PRESENT: Present were Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz, John Brownell, attorne~ and news media representatives from the Grand Island Independent and KRGI. MINUTES OF THE JUNE 10 MEETING: Landis made a motion and Lancaster seconded to accept the minutes as received and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, Stelk absent. Motion carried. COUNTY ATTORNEY: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz presented the board with copies of the agreement with Great. Plains Appraisal. The agreement has the proposed number of 9 working days and a maximum amount, it is the same as last years agreement. Lancaster made a motion and Landis seconded to approve the agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. The typing errors will be corrected. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis and Long all voted yes, Quandt voted no. Stelk was absent. Motion carried. Janulewicz excused himself for the executive session. Landis requested Janulewicz to assist her on the Senior Citizens contract. EXECUTIVE SESSION WITH COUNTY BOARD'S LEGAL COUNSEL: Lancaster made a motion and Landis seconded to hold executive session_ Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, Stelk absent. Motion carried. EXECUTIVE SESSION 9:15 A.M. 9:45 A.M.Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of executive session. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, Stelk absent. Motion carried. EXECUTIVE SESSION REGARDING PERSONNEL: Abernethy made a motion and Hartman seconded to hold executive session regarding personnel. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, Stelk absent. Motion carried. 9:46 A.M. EXECUTIVE SESSION 10:20 A.M. Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to go out of executive session. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes, Stelk absent. Hartman was absent for the vote. Motion carried. BREAK 10:20 A.M. 10:30 A.M. Returned to session.
