Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS: Quandt made a motion and Abernethy seconded to <br />accept communications and place on file. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY BOARD SECRETARY REPORT: Lisa Hagen provided the board <br />members with a list of the Keno applications that had been <br />received. Discussion was held on a work study session. This <br />will be on the June 10 agenda to set it up. Lisa stated <br />departments have inquired if a county auction will be held. She <br />was instructed to look at the month of August. She received a <br />call from the city concerning a joint meeting on the safty <br />center. A committee meeting will be held later. The City and <br />County are to hold a joint meeting on the Health Department <br />Budget by June 15. The board requested Lisa to check with the <br />City and the Health Department to set this up. <br /> <br />Lisa submitted copies of the proposals for the blinds for the <br />board room to the board members. The low bid was from Sherwin <br />Williams. Hartman made a motion and Landis seconded to purchase <br />the blinds from Sherwin Williams and have them installed. <br />Abernety, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Stelk all voted <br />yes and Quandt voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: <br />Lancaster - She attended the Audit Committee meeting last Tuesday <br />and there will be another Audit Committee meeting June 3, The <br />County will be able to be at the 35 cents lid and should not have <br />to cut personnel and services. She attended the swearing <br />ceremony of Mr. Perkins, Hall County Sheriff and the Midland Area <br />Agency on Aging meeting on Thursday. <br /> <br />Landis - She will attend the Audit Committee meeting today and <br />the Safty Committee meeting June 4 and requested Quandt to <br />attend. She also attended the swearing in of the new sheriff. <br /> <br />Stelk - No report. <br />
