<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING APRIL 29, 1997

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met April 29, 1997, at
<br />9:00 a.m. in the County Board meeting room, 121 South pine,
<br />Grand Island.
<br />
<br />CALL TO ORDER: The meeti~was called to order by Chairman Huey
<br />Long.
<br />
<br />INVOCATION: Invocaton was given by Father Phelan, VA Medical Center.
<br />
<br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge of Allegiance was given in
<br />unison.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Pamela
<br />Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Huey Long, Gary Quandt, and Tammie
<br />Stelk.
<br />
<br />PRESENT: Present were Jerry Janulewicz, Deputy County Attorney,
<br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director, news media representatives
<br />from Grand Island Independent, KRGI, Channel 10/11, Channel
<br />5 and NITV Kearney. Also present were 11 representatives from
<br />the Sheriff's Department.
<br />
<br />MINUTES OF APRIL 22 MEETING: Corrections were made. Stelk made
<br />a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the minutes of the
<br />April 22 meeting, place on file the County Treasurer's
<br />Miscellaneous Receipts and communications. Abernethy, Lancaster,
<br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted
<br />no. Motion carried. Hartman arrived at 9:05 a.m.
