Have ReUse Committee meeting,tomorrow <br />(Wednesday) at 10:00 a.m. and also next Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. <br />Attended Park Committee meeting, discussed the crane viewing area <br />upkeep, recommended he talk to Moravek & Bishop at Central Platte NRD. <br /> <br />Hartman - Attended Public Works Committee meeting on the one and six year <br />road program, will go to Regional Planning Commission and then to <br />County Board. Has visited with accountant to assist with County <br />Budget and will get information to Board members to consider. <br /> <br />Lancaster Attended Juvenile Detention meeting at College Park, Reuse <br />Committee meeting, Negotiations with Public Defender Organization <br />Long Range Planning meeting, Breakfast for Senator Hagel and the <br />CASA Diversion Committee meeting with CASA Board members. <br /> <br />Abernethy Attended Head start Board meeting, Merit Commission meeting, <br />Juvenile Detention Meeting at College Park, State Juvenile Justice <br />meeting, and CASA Diversion Committee meeting with 6 CASA Board members. <br />CASA will continue the diversion program until decision is made by <br />County Board. <br /> <br />Long <br /> <br />Attended CNCS meeting in Loup City, Public Works Committee meeting, <br />Public Defender organization Committee meeting, Long Range Planning <br />meeting, Breakfast for Senator Hagel, CASA Diversion Program committee <br />meeting and meeting with Attorney Janulewicz and media representatives <br />from Grand Island Independent. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORT: The following written Committee recommendation was <br />presented and read: <br /> <br />The Hall County Pubic Works Committee recommends the Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors receiving bids for the 1997 gravel requiremnets. Bids to be received on <br />March 11, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />~!L~ <br /> <br />Daniel 1. stler <br />Public Works Director <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />/f-t:/~~ <br /> <br />Richard Hartman <br /> <br /> <br />dis <br />/} <br />I, - <br />Huey Long <br /> <br />:6~~CJ~Nt)- <br /> <br />Gary Qu <br />Motion by Stelk, eeconded by Hartman to accept committee recommendation and <br />set March 11, 1997 10:00 a.m. to receive bids for 1997 gravel requirements. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Abernethy referred to letter from Senator Chris Petersen requesting opinions <br />and information from Board Members on LB255 and LB257. <br /> <br />Chairman Long was excused from meeting at 12:00 noon. Vice Chair Abernethy <br />chaired the meeting. <br />RECESSED MEETING at 12:05 p.m. and to return to regular session at 1:00 p.m. <br />to review monthly claims. <br /> <br />RETURNED TO REGULAR SESSION at 1:00 p.m., Vice Chair Abernethy called the <br />meeting to order. Present were Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Quandt and <br />Stelk. Absent were Hartman and Long. <br /> <br />COMMENCED AUDIT OF MONTHLY CLAIMS AT 1:05 p.m. <br />RETURNED TO SESSION AT 1:33 p.m. <br />Supervisor Lancaster had claim for Sam's Club to refer to County Attorney's <br />office for clarification. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Stelk to approve claims as audited except <br />to refer claim from Sam's Club for membership to County Attorney's office for <br />clarification. Abernethy, Lancaster, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none <br />
