OF SUPERVISORS ~~.eJ~ COUNTY RK AGREEMENT STATE OF NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT ROAD, TRAFFIC SIGNAL INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY US-28l AND AIRPORT ROAD: Dan Hostler, Public Works Director,explained the agreement and cost to county is 20% of actual costs, estimated to be $13,000.00 Hostler reported no money is budgeted in road fund for this purpose. Motion by Stelk, to authorize Board Chairman to sign the agreement and to be paid from road fund. However this raised more di~cussion. Suggested was an emergency and should be paid from Inheritance fund. Motion by Stelk, seconded by Quandt to authorize Board Chair to sign the agreement with the State Department of Roads, to pay from Road fund budget, if not enough funds available to pay from Inheritance fund. Aber- nethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Public Works Director requested County Board to write letter requesting 80% share from State for flashing light at Husker Highway and Highway 11 also. Public Works Committee meets tomorrow February 19th at 2:00 p.m. and will discuss. AMENDMENT #1 HALL COUNTY EMPLOYEE HEALTH PLAN: Stelk, Chair of Health Insurance Committee reported on meeting and read the amendment. Motion by Stelk, seconded by Quandt to approve the amendment and author- ize Chairman to sign. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. HALL COUNTY EMPLOYEE HEALTH PLAN AMENDMENT #1 EFFECTIVE 03/01/97 CONTINUATION OF COVERAGE Effective 03/01/97 All 'employee who is covered on the health plan, and retires while age 65 or older, can remain covered on the Plan for up to an additional sixty (60) days after their retirement, providing they make payments to the Plan for their coverage.
