Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to change the name <br />from So to to Saeger and to execute a settlement agreement with <br />Sue Saeger on the workman compensation claim. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:15 A.M. BID OPENING: Stelk made a motion and Lancaster <br />seconded to open the bids for the salary survey. Arnold, <br />Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes <br />and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />The bid from BC Consultants, Denver, Colorado was opened and they <br />did not list the cost of the services. The second bid from <br />Comparability Data Company, Lincoln, Nebraska was received <br />quoting a subset total cost of $18,000.00 and a wage benefit <br />study of $12,000.00. Quandt made a motion and Stelk seconded to <br />refer the bids to Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz and the <br />personnel committee and to hold a work study session to have the <br />full board review them. Hartman and Quandt voted yes and Arnold, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long and Stelk all voted no. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to hold a work study <br />session in January to review the bids. Discussion was held. <br />Stelk withdrew her motion and Quandt withdrew his second. Stelk <br />made a motion and Arnold seconded to refer the bids to the audit <br />committee for a recommendation. Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chuck Bosselman talked to the board concerning his request to <br />pave a portion of Wood River Road. He is requesting the County <br />to pay $100,000.00 to pave the road. Mr. Bosselman stated that <br />the county receives keno proceeds from the keno satellite at <br />Bosselmans. The motion to refer this to the public works <br />committee for a recommendation was tabled. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes to refer <br />this matter to the public works committee. Motion carried. <br />
