<br />COMMENCE AUDIT OF MONTHLY CLAIMS AND ACTION ON CLAIM AUDIT: The
<br />claims were reviewed and Long made a motion and Stelk seconded to
<br />approve all claims as audited and also approve the claims to
<br />Nancy's Cookie Corner for $90.00, Collection Bureau for $206.05
<br />and Dowd's Steak House for $21,774.58. Abernethy, Hartman,
<br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none
<br />voted no. Motion carried.

<br />BOARD MEMBER REPORTS: Quandt he attended a meeting at the
<br />airport, Midland Area Agency on Aging and he missed the Head
<br />Start meeting.
<br />
<br />Long - He attended the interviews for the weed superintendent and
<br />the employee recognition at Stuhr Museum and he will attend a
<br />CNCS meeting in Loup City.
<br />
<br />Abernethy- She attended a juvenile committee public hearing in
<br />Beatrice and will have information on a teen court that is in
<br />Lancaster County. She also attended the Central District meeting
<br />in Kearney and reported that Doug Christensen and Jack Mills have
<br />concerns on the proposed constitutional amendment to limit
<br />government spending. She also reported that Region III has a new
<br />quarterly review committee.
