Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPROVE CORRIDOR PROPOSAL WITH BURLINGTON NORTHERN: After the <br />public hearing was held,Public Works Director Dan Hostler drew up <br />the proposal that was requested by the public. Stelk made a <br />motion and Quandt seconded to sign the corridor proposal and <br />forward it the State of Nebraska Department of Roads. Abernethy, <br />Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes <br />and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ZONING OF FIVE-ACRE TRACTS OF LAND: The conditional use committee <br />met concerning this matter and Landis stated that she would like <br />to see the zoning changed so people could purchase 5-acre tracts <br />of land to build homes. Landis made a motion and Quandt seconded <br />to have regional planning come in with a recommendation <br />concerning the 5-acre tracts of land. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPROVE CLAIM FOR HEALTH INSURANCE: This claim is for the <br />insurance binder fee for the health insurance plan. Stelk made a <br />motion and Quandt seconded to approve the claim for $1,332.30 <br />from the insurance reserve fund to Managed Access for the <br />insurance binder. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />APPROVE HEALTH INSURANCE RENEWAL FOR 1998-1999: Stelk made a <br />motion and Quandt seconded to approve the renewal with Mid- <br />America Benefits for 1998-1999 and authorize the Chair to sign. <br />
