Stelk made a motion <br />and Quandt seconded to set the joint meeting for August 3 at <br />7:00 p.m. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN THE FEDERAL AND STATE PUBLIC <br />TRANSPORTATION APPEALING ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT: Quandt made a <br />motion and Abernethy seconded to authorize the chair to sign the <br />agreement. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt <br />and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SETTLEMENT OF THE HALL COUNTY TREASURER WITH THE HALL COUNTY <br />BOARD: Long made a motion and Stelk seconded to accept and place <br />on file the settlement of the Hall County Treasurer with the Hall <br />County Board. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />SETTLEMENT OF COUNTY TREASURER OF UNCOLLECTIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY <br />TAX: County Treasurer Doris Mason provided the board with a list <br />and the resolution for the uncollected delinquent real property <br />taxes and the 1995 unpaid personal taxes and the 1996 and prior <br />accelerated real property taxes that may be stricken from the tax <br />list. Quandt made a motion and Abernethy seconded to approve <br />Resolution # 98-0040 to strike from the tax list all <br />uncollectible personal property taxes. Abernethy, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no.
