THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the County General Fund - Miscellaneous General miscellaneous line item 970-2-9900 be reduced by the amount of$19,200.00 and the General Fund (corrections department) line 671-2-1901 be increased by $13,000.00, line 671-2-2912 increased by $1,100.00 and line item 671-2-3000 be increased by $5,100.00 in order to permit the payment of additional and unforeseen expenses to be incurred in the operation of the Hall County Corrections Department for the fiscal year 1997-1998. The Hall County Clerk and other county officials are hereby authorized to take such action as necessary in order to implement this resolution. Passed and approved thi~day of June, 1998. Quandt made a motion and Abernethy seconded to approve all claims as audited and authorize the county clerk to pay. Quandt withdrew his motion and Abernethy withdrew her second. Discussion was held on the salary claims from the public defender's office. Long made a motion and Lancaster seconded to lower the salary claims #2033, ~ Fogarty to $2,652.25, #2034 ~Knake to $2,441.10 and #2038 J. Mitchell to $2,227.89. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, with Stelk absent. Motion carried. Quandt made a motion and Long seconded to approve all claims as audited and authorize the County Clerk to pay. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. Public work Director Dan Hoster returned with the results of the bid opening. The successful bidder was Nebraska Machinery for the 1997 Cat 143H in the amounty of $146,985.00. Quand made a motion and Long seconded to accept the bid from Nebraska Machinery for the 1997 Cat 143H. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Lon9 and Quandt all voted yes and none voted no, with Stelk absent. Motion carried. q
