'fry ;:: () I~/ APPROVE CHANGE FOR RDS INC. NEW ALDA LOUNGE: A request from RDS Inc. New Alda Lounge was received requesting to delete an area from the liquor license of approximately 71' x 95'. Quandt made a made motion and Stelk seconded to approve the decrease in area for New Alda Lounge. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent. Motion carried. COUNTY ATTORNEY - DISCUSS AND ADOPT RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO DTE RAILCAR REQUEST: Steve Christensen with DTE gave a brief history of his company and explained that the increase will add 25 new jobs with more to come later. He stated that they would cooperate with the other people and will work on the access and easements. If the tenants that are there need additional rail service, DTE would work with them to provide this. Mr. Christensen stated that DTE has no interest in the building~ only the track and land. Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to approve Resolution # 98-0030 Designation DTE Rail Services, Inc., as the Transferee of Designated Tracts from the Department of Defense. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent, Motion carried. RESOLUTION #98- ()C/3D A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING DTE RAIL SERVICES, INe., AS THE TRANSFEREE OF DESIGNATED TRACTS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE WHEREAS, Public Law 103-337, sec. 2836 authorizes the Secretary of the Army to convey to the Hall County Nebraska Board of Supervisors, hereinafter referred to as the "Board," or its designee all right, title and interest of the United States in and to the real property that is the site of the Comhusker Army Ammunition Plant, hereinafter referred to as "CAAP," for fair market value, said property to be used in a manner consistent with the CAAP Reuse Committee's Comprehensive Reuse Plan, hereinafter referred to as the "Reuse Plan"; and WHEREAS, DTE Rail Services, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "DTE," is desirous of being designated as the transferee of certain real property at CAAP which is used or will be used in connection with its industrial operations at CAAP; and WHEREAS, the Board, in recognition of the past history of job creation and capital investment by Cornhusker Rail Car, predecessor in interest to DTE, and in recognition ofDTE's commitment to creating additional jobs, capital investment, and rail infrastructure improvements at CAAP, desires to facilitate the continued operation and growth ofDTE at CAAP consistent with the Reuse Plan. ."
