New Alda Lounge was received requesting to delete an area <br />from the liquor license of approximately 71' x 95'. Quandt made <br />a made motion and Stelk seconded to approve the decrease in area <br />for New Alda Lounge. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY - DISCUSS AND ADOPT RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO DTE <br />RAILCAR REQUEST: Steve Christensen with DTE gave a brief history <br />of his company and explained that the increase will add 25 new <br />jobs with more to come later. He stated that they would <br />cooperate with the other people and will work on the access and <br />easements. If the tenants that are there need additional rail <br />service, DTE would work with them to provide this. Mr. <br />Christensen stated that DTE has no interest in the building~ only <br />the track and land. Stelk made a motion and Landis seconded to <br />approve Resolution # 98-0030 Designation DTE Rail Services, Inc., <br />as the Transferee of Designated Tracts from the Department of <br />Defense. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent, Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98- ()C/3D <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING DTE RAIL SERVICES, INe., AS THE TRANSFEREE <br />OF DESIGNATED TRACTS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Law 103-337, sec. 2836 authorizes the Secretary of the Army to convey to <br />the Hall County Nebraska Board of Supervisors, hereinafter referred to as the "Board," or its designee <br />all right, title and interest of the United States in and to the real property that is the site of the <br />Comhusker Army Ammunition Plant, hereinafter referred to as "CAAP," for fair market value, said <br />property to be used in a manner consistent with the CAAP Reuse Committee's Comprehensive Reuse <br />Plan, hereinafter referred to as the "Reuse Plan"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, DTE Rail Services, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "DTE," is desirous of being <br />designated as the transferee of certain real property at CAAP which is used or will be used in <br />connection with its industrial operations at CAAP; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board, in recognition of the past history of job creation and capital investment <br />by Cornhusker Rail Car, predecessor in interest to DTE, and in recognition ofDTE's commitment to <br />creating additional jobs, capital investment, and rail infrastructure improvements at CAAP, desires to <br />facilitate the continued operation and growth ofDTE at CAAP consistent with the Reuse Plan. <br /> <br />." <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOL YED as follows: <br /> <br />1.
