<br />APPROVE USING COURTHOUSE STEPS FOR CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL OCTOBER 1,
<br />1998, 7:30 A.M: Long made a motion and Stelk seconded to approve
<br />using the Courthouse steps for the candlelight vigil. Landis
<br />expressed concerns on the liability. Discussion was held.
<br />Hartman, Lancaster, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none
<br />voted no, with Abernethy absent.

<br />SET TIMES FOR WORK STUDY SESSION FOR BUDGET, DEPARTMENT HEADS AND
<br />WORK STUDY SESSIONS FOR KENO APPLICATIONS: Stelk made a motion
<br />and Lancaster seconded to set the dates the County Board will
<br />meet with the department heads for July 20, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
<br />p.m., and July 21, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hartman, Lancaster,
<br />Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no
<br />with Abernethy absent. Motion carried.

<br />Stelk made a motion and Quandt seconded to set the work study
<br />sessions for the budget for July 27, 28 and 29, from 1:00 p.m. to
<br />5:00 p.m. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all
<br />voted yes and none voted no, with Abernethy absent. Motion
<br />carried.
