Motion carried. <br /> <br />PUBLIC \VORKS COl\;fMITTEE REPORT <br /> <br />The Public Works Committee recommends that the Hall County Board of Supervisors <br />accept bids on Tuesday, July 7, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. for the following asphalt projects: <br /> <br />C40(103)-3 Mile 29 V & W - Stolley Park Road <br />C40(174)-2 Mile 37 G - Airport Road <br />C40(239)-1 Mile 21 J - Guenther Road <br />C40(273)-1 Mle 6 N- Stuhr Road <br /> <br />REQUEST TO PURCHASE COPIER FOR ROAD DEPARTMENT: Dan Hostler <br />requested to purchase a copier for $3,881.00 from Modern Methods. <br />He will trade in his 1986 copier. This was the low bid. Landis <br />made a motion and Stelk seconded to authorize Dan Hostler to <br />purchase the copier for $3,881.00. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no, with <br />Abernethy absent. motion carried. <br /> <br />MIDLAND AREA AGENCY ON AGING BUDGET REQUEST: Jerry Ryan/with <br />Midland Area Agency on Aging stated that at the govenors <br />conference on aging an award for outstanding private sector <br />business and outstanding senior citizen were given.
