It will also need to be <br />approved by the Department of the Army. Stelk made a motion and <br />Quandt seconded to approve the final reuse plan. Joe Higgins <br />requested to address the County Board concerning the Reuse Plan. <br />He stated he presented a proposal that would continue the leasing <br />of the property and take ownership of it. The consultant that <br />was hired and the Reuse Committee developed the plan that is <br />being presented to the County Board. Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Long, Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and Abernethy voted no; favoring <br />Mr. Higgins plan. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:00 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING FOR HEARTLAND COOP: Quandt made a <br />motion and Stelk seconded to open the public hearing for the <br />conditional use permit for Heartland Coop. The conditional use <br />committee recommended approval of the permit. The permit would <br />have the same conditions as the original permit and would be for <br />5 years. Hartman suggested that it should be issued for 20 <br />years. Quandt made a motion and Stelk seconded to close the <br />public hearing. Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, <br />Quandt and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Abernethy seconded to approve the <br />conditional use permit for Heartland Coop for 5 years. <br />Abernethy, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Long, Quandt and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no.
