BOARD MEMBER'S REPORT— Mr. Ziola Thanked Mr Quandt for volunt�ering to help with the remodeling at the Courthouse Annex. Mr. McFarland stated that the facilities committee met yesterday and addressed the camping fees and also addressed the heating and air conditioning project at the courthouse. The next step is to set a time line on how th�y intend to do the project. At same point peaple will have to be maved out of the courthouse and the biggest impact will be on the judicial system. Mr. Schuppan stated that they had a road department meeting and the department did a good job plowing snaw, by the end of the day all of the roads were all plowed. Discussian was held on th� heating and air praject at the court house. Mr. Quandt stated that it will be a tough project. Lancaster noted that it will take about a year and a half to complete. Mr. McFarland stated that it may take an additional $100,000.00 for the electrical and this is extra. The heating and air project is $843,000.00. The drop ceilings will have to be removed and they have decided that it will be faster to replace the drap ceiling and the lighting fixtures but that will run the cost up. The project wiil be addressed in phases and they will have to communicate with the judges. Lancaster noted 3 publicatians fram the Canvention Visitor's Bureau promoting Hall County. She alsa stated that she and Mr. Purdy attended the dedicatian of the Betty Curtis Clean Community Center. Mr. Quandt questioned if they were going to hire a new director and she stated they were warking on it.
