Discussion was held on the progress of the Ellis property issue and Mr. Zitterkopf stated that he <br /> had contacted Mr.Parker and he apologized that the paperwork had not been completed but <br /> stated that he wauld mail it. Mr. Zitterkopf stated that he will keep calling him and it would be a <br /> relief ta get this campleted. <br /> 6. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTI�N R�GARDING CAMPING F�ES AT HALL COUNTY <br /> PARK— Mr. McFarland stated that the building and grounds committee met and he stated that <br /> Morman Island is charging $18.Q0 for the camping pads and �3.00 for sewer and �3.00 for <br /> water and $5.�0 a day for park permit. Hall County charges $15.00 for a camping pad and <br /> $10.00 for the tent pads they recommended to increase the camping pads to $2Q.00 and the <br /> tent pads to $15.�0. <br /> McFarland made a motion and Quandt seconded to increase the camping fees to $20.00 and <br /> the t�nt camping pads to $15.00. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziala all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf will prepare the res�lution for approval for the next meeting. <br /> 9. AI'PROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CL.AIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS —The board members <br /> received the board preapproval list and reviewed the claims. <br /> Discussion was held on s�tting a per diem for meals. Mr. Ziola stated that at the correctians <br /> departm�nt it was set at $25.00 a day. <br /> Schuppan suggested that the audit committee shauld study the per diem issue and come back <br /> with a proposal. <br /> The board noted the high cost af the juvenile detention claims. <br /> Discussion was held on a legislative bill regarding the public advocate commission Lancaster <br /> mentianed an issue with Dauglas County wanting to pull their funds. Mr. Zitterkapf stated that it <br /> was his understanding that when a smaller county is faced with a big case the commission will <br /> step in and help fund it. One should argue that Douglas County should still support it and if not <br /> then the filing fees in Dauglas County should be $3.00 less. <br /> Th� board members finished reviewing the claims. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve all of the pay claims and the regular <br /> claims except Office Net. Lancaster, Mc�arland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted <br /> yes and none voted na. Arnold was absent. Motian carried. <br /> Mr. Quandt noted that the claim for the dues to South Central Econamic Development District <br /> was paid but they had refused to pay his mileage claim. He expressed concern on the direction <br /> of this board. Mr. Ziola stated that others have also objected. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the claim to Office Net. Mr. <br /> McFarland stated that he will abstain because he has business relationship with Office Net. <br /> Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Arnold was absent.
