HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING FEBRUARY 12, 2Q13 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened February 12, 2Q13 by published call in the <br /> Caunty Board meeting roam, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to arder by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATIQN - Invocation was given by 5cott Arnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were, Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Dan <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also present was Deputy County <br /> Attorney Sarah Johnson and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN M�ETING LAW—Chairman Pamela Lancaster read the notice of open �I <br /> meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME —Chairman Lancaster stated that if anyone from th� audience <br /> has a request ta reserve time to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this <br /> time. No vne responded <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Purdy made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda: <br /> 1. Placed on file th� minute of the January 29 meeting <br /> 2. '1 Approved the special designated liquor licenses for Cedar Hills Vineyard for March 9, <br /> 10, 16, 17 and 23 for Nebraska Nature 8� Visitor Center <br /> 3. 11 Approved the letter of fee proposal for legal counsel for the 2013 union negotiations <br /> 4. 12 Approved the letter of support for the Heartland Health Center <br /> 5. 15 Placed an file communications from Regional Planning <br /> 6. 16 Approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 7. 17 Placed on file the office reports from the County Attarney statistical report, Hall & <br /> Howard Caunty Juvenile Services, County Clerk, Caunty Sheriff December and quarterly <br /> repart <br /> 8. 1$ I'laced on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous receipts <br /> 9. 19 Placed on file communications as r�ceived. <br /> Arnald, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Mation carried. <br /> 9. APPRQVE RESOLUTION OF THE HALI. C�UNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS --- <br /> SUPP�RTING THE RETENTION OF THE NEBRASKA V�TERANS HOME IN GRAND <br /> ISLAND - Veterans Service Officer pon Shuda read Resolutian #13-006 supporting the <br /> retention of the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island. <br /> Quandt made a motion and McFarland seconded to approve Resolution #13-p06 supporking the <br /> ret�ntion of the Nebraska Veterans Hame in Grand Island. Arnold, l.ancaster, McFarlando <br /> Purdy, Quandt, 5chuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motian carried. <br /> l <br />
