Motion carried. <br /> <br />Landis made a motion and Hartman seconded to rescind the motion from September 28 <br />to advertise for applicants for the part-time election commissioner for a 4-year term. <br />Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis all voted yes and Arnold, Logan and Stelk all voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Hartman made a motion and Landis seconded to approve resolution # 99-0081 <br />establishing the salary for the office of part-time county election commissioner for the <br />term of office commencing January 1,2000. Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis all <br />voted yes and Arnold, Logan and Stelk all voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98- DOSI <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE SALARY FOR THE OFFICE OF PART- <br />TIME COUNTY ELECTION COMl\'IISSIONER FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE <br />COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1999 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors is required by law to set and <br />establish salaries for the office of county election commissioner at least 60 days prior to the <br />expiration of the term of office of the election commissioner holding office. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOL VED, that the annual salary for the part-time county election <br />commissioner be hereby set as follows: <br /> <br />1. The annual salary for the office of part-time election commissioner is established at <br />$20,000 for the calendar year 2000. Each year thereafter a 3.70 percent cost-of-living <br />increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so the total amount paid for the <br />calendar year 2001 shall be $20,740, for the calendar year 2002 shall be $21,507.38, <br />and for the calendar year 2003 shall be $22,303.15. <br /> <br />2. The part-time election commissioner shall be regularly scheduled to work 20 hours per <br />week and such additional hours as necessary to fulfill the duties of the office. <br /> <br />3. The part-time election commissioner shall be subject to the Hall County Personnel <br />Policies and Procedures. During the aforesaid term of office the election commissioner <br />shall not be eligible to receive health and dental benefits pursuant to the terms and <br />conditions of the county's Employee Health Benefit Plan. <br /> <br />4. The above salary shall be paid on a monthly basis or on some other periodic basis as <br />established by the Board of Supervisors. <br />
