All dudio and videotapes or omer medil.U11 <br />upon which said recordings are made shall be maintained by the county board assistant in a <br />locked cabinet. Recordings of meetings shall be retained for a period of six months and shall <br />thereafter be erased and the tape reused or otheIWise disposed. <br /> <br />5.0 ACCESS TO RECORDINGS. By request made to the County Board Assistant, the <br />public, including county officers and employees, may listen to any recording made pmsuant <br />to this policy on a machine approved by the Board Assistant. Such access shall be provided <br />within 24 hours of request, excluding weekends and holidays. <br /> <br />6.0 COPIES OF AUDIOTAPES. By request made to the County Board Assistant, <br />copies of audiotapes may be obtained. Persons requesting copies of audiotapes must supply <br />adequate tapes for Such pmpose. The COl.mty shall not be responsible for the quality or <br />adequacy of such copies. The County Board Assistant or a designee thereof shall make any <br />such requested copy within 72 hours of the receipt of a request, excluding weekends and <br />holidays. <br /> <br />7.0 FEES FOR AUDIOTAPES. The County Board Assistant shall charge a fee for <br />copies of audiotapes made pursuant to this policy. Said fee shall be established at the rate of <br />$30.00 per tape. Portions of audiotapes MIl not be duplicated. Said fee shall be due and <br />payable prior to or upon receipt of such copy. Blank tapes for said recordings shall be <br />supplied by the person requesting said copy. <br /> <br />8.0 OFFICIAL RECORD.
