<br />.. <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING APRIL 27, 1999 <br /> <br />F199U014~~ <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session <br />and by published call in the county board meeting room, 121 South <br />Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska April 27, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bud Jeffries. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Rev. Robert Reich. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Richard Hartman, Bud <br />Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Lonnie Logan and <br />Tammie Stelk. Also present were Deputy County Attorney Jerry <br />Janulewicz and news media representatives from the Grand Island <br />Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY - APPROVE RESOLUTION REGARDING POLICIES FOR <br />COPYING AND AUDIO & VIDEO TAPES: Deputy County Attorney Jerry <br />Janulewicz stated that there were two separate polices regarding <br />the procedure and he has combined the two policies and <br />established one fee of $30.00 for the purchase of all the audio <br />and video tapes of a meeting. Hartman mentioned that the <br />quality of the video tapes is poor and if the meetings are going <br />to be broadcast the board should try to look at improving the <br />quality. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve <br />resolution #99-0018 a policy of the Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors for audio and video recording of county board <br />meetings by the county board assistant. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98- tJ 0 I 8 <br /> <br />POLICY OF THE HALL COUNlY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS <br />FOR AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING OF COUNTY BOARD NffiETINGS <br />BY THE COUNTY BOARD ASSISTANT <br /> <br />1.0 PURPOSE. The purpose of this policy shall be to provide policies and procedures <br />for audio and video recording of meetings of the Hall County Board of Supervisors and to <br />provide public access to such recordings. <br /> <br />2.0 RECORDING OF NIEETINGS. Audio and video recordings shall be made of all <br />regular and special meetings of the Hall County Board of Supervisors, and the Hall County <br />Board of Equalization, and an audio only made of the Hall County Board of Corrections, <br />except those meetings or portions thereof when the Board, by majopty vote, is in closed <br />sesSIOn. <br /> <br />; <br /> <br />3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES. The County Board Assistant, or designee in the absence of <br />the board assistant, shall be responsible for making said audio and video recordings as set <br />forth in this policy. <br />
