<br />F1999018S <br /> <br />Returned to session at 1:00 p.m. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION TORT CLAIM FOR MARK GRIESMAN AND REVIEW <br />PERSONNEL EVALUATIONS: Landis made a motion and Stelk seconded <br />to go into executive session regarding the tort claim for Mark <br />Griesman and personnel evaluations and polices. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />1:45 p.m. executive session <br /> <br />2:30 p.m. Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out of <br />executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, <br />Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Arnold seconded to deny the tort claim <br />from Mark Griesman. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis <br />and Stelk all voted yes and Logan voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />EVALUATION FOR, BOARD ASSISTANT - 90 DAY REVIEW: Logan requested <br />that the board members complete the evaluation forms for Board <br />Assistant Stacey Ruzicka and have them back to the personnel <br />committee by April 16 for review. They also need to do the <br />evaluation for Juvenile Service Director Troy Chandler. <br />Discussion was held on the forms that are used and Deputy County <br />Attorney Jerry Janulewicz recommended that the personnel <br />committee come back with a written policy regarding the <br />evaluations. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION FROM COMPUTER COMMITTEE TO PURCHASE ALL COMPUTERS <br />THIS FISCAL YEAR: The computer committee would like to be able to <br />purchase all the computer platforms this fiscal year instead of <br />waiting. Lancaster stated she has talked to Brad Fegley and it <br />would be possible to proceed with this. Lancaster made a motion <br />and Stelk seconded to have the County Board authorize the <br />computer committee to purchase all the Y2K platforms this fiscal <br />year in order to get the best price break per computer and to use <br />all of the 1998-1999 fiscal year budget for computers. This <br />would include 50 platforms plus and additional computer for <br />juvenile diversion. Lancaster stated that the per unit price is <br />$240.00 lower than the GSA pricing by purchasing all the <br />platforms at one time. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster and <br />Stelk all voted yes and Landis voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ACCEPT REPORT ON PETITION TO CLOSE ROAD: The petition was <br />received and Public Works Director Dan Hostler submitted his <br />report to the board recommending to close the road. Deputy <br />county Attorney Jerry Janulewicz stated that the board will need <br />to approve a resolution setting a public hearing on the matter. <br />The notice for hearing will need to be published 3 weeks and the <br />
