<br />~ 19990089 <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MARCH 9, 1999 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met from adjourned session <br />and by published call in the county board meeting room, 121 South <br />Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, March 9, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bud Jeffries. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Pastor Robert Harms from Trinity Lutheran <br />Church. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were _ScDttArno~d., Richard Hrtman, Bud <br />Jeffries, Pamela Lancaster, Margaret Landis, Lonnie Logan and <br />Tammie Stelk4 Also present were Depty county....Attorney .Jerry <br />Janulewicz and news media representatives from the Grand Island <br />Independent and KRGL <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 23 MEETING: Hartman made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to approve the minutes of the February 23 <br />meeting. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried4 <br /> <br />ACCEPT AND PLACE ON FILE LAST QUARTER AUDITS FOR KENO, COUNTY <br />SHERIFF AND REGISTER OF DEEDS: The audits were received by the <br />board members and reviewed. Landis made a motion and Stelk <br />seconded to accept and place on file the audits for Keno, County <br />Sheriff and the Register of Deeds. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffires, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNTY ATTORNEY DISCUSS LITIGATION STRATEGY FOR DYNASTY <br />ENTERPRISES: Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz requested an <br />executive session on this matter. Landis, Made a motion and <br />Stelk seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:07 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />9:15 a.m. Hartman made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go out <br />of executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Jerry Janulewicz recommended to the board to confess judgement on <br />the protest appeal from Dynasty Enterprises, Inc. on the property <br />located on Blaine and Adams Streets. Great Plains Appraisal <br />reviewed the property and set the valuation at $2,200,000.00. <br />
