SET THE FORMAL BOARD OF EQUALIZATION DATES AND FINAL ACTION DATES AND <br /> TIM�S - County Assessor Jan Pelland requested to set the dates for formal Board of <br /> Equalization hearing for 2012. The informal referee hearings will be held June 11 to the 15, <br /> June 18 ta the 22 and June 25 to the 29. The hearings will be held Monday through Friday. <br /> The final action will have to be July 17th so the formal hearing will have to be set for the previous <br /> week. She requested to have one week left blank between the informal and the formal hearings <br /> so the field work can be done. Three days are usually scheduled for the formal hearings. The <br /> following dates were set for the formal hearings. Discussion was held <br /> July 10t" 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> July 11th 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. <br /> July 12th 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> The final action on July 1�t" will be started at 1:a0 a.m. She stated that that the biggest issue <br /> may be the ag land increase. <br /> Arnold made a motian and Purdy seconded ta set the formal hearing for the Board of <br /> Equalization for <br /> July 10th 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br /> July 11th 9:Op a.m. to 2:00 p.m. <br /> July 12t" 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> Ju1y 17`" 1:00 p.m. for the final action <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> COUNTY ASSESSOR — NEW 2012 EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR REAL AND P�RSONAL. <br /> PROPERTY --County Assessor Jan Pelland read the following exemption application: <br /> Sala Evangelica Inc., 515 North Pine, Grand Island, for real estate located an the Southerly Half <br /> (S1/2) of Lots Three (3) , and Four(4) in block Nineteen (19) in the Original Town it is used for <br /> church services <br /> International Church af the Four Square Gospel for personal property located at 524 West 4�"' <br /> Grand Island Lot 5 Blk 35 Original Town it is used for church services <br /> NE Annual Conference of United Methodist Church for real properky on Lot Three (3) Block ane <br /> (1) Woodland Park Tenth Subdivision it is used as a parsonage for church <br /> Peace Lutheran Church, 1710 N North Road Grand Island for real estate an Peace Lutheran <br /> Subdivisian North 382.42 feet by 145 feet Lot 1 it is used as a parking lat <br /> She approved the applications as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 <br /> Arnold made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the exemption applications as read. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, 5chuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Ms. Pelland stated that the remaining exemption applications are under Nebraska Specialty <br /> Network and there are seven applications under The Physicians Network. She tried to get more <br /> information because the information was vague but did get clarification that they are applying for <br /> 2 <br />
