BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT— Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka stated she has no report. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Purdy reported that the "Life Trail" at the Hall <br /> County Park has been completed thanks to Loran Humphrey. He also noted that the Hall <br /> Caunty Sheriff will be receiving the assist grant fram NIRMA. He reported that 225 officials <br /> attended the NIRMA conference with 64 counties represented. He alsa stated that he and <br /> Janet O'Malley gave a wellness presentation at the conference and received a 4.45. <br /> Arnold stated that his son placed third in a regional music competition. <br /> Ziola reported that Greg Ahlers participated in a documentary regarding rural law enforcement. <br /> He stated that he attended the American Jail conference at the Midtown Holiday Inn. <br /> McFarland reported that he attended the public kick off of the "Gem of the Prairie Campaign" at <br /> Stuhr Museum and over 60% of the goal for the improvements has been pledged. <br /> Quandt reported that he and Steve Reilly are working an the United Way campaign but it is not <br /> finished yet. He has pramised to buy pizza for any departm�nt that contributed 100%. <br /> Lancaster noted a letter from SCEDC regarding the salary increase and the reserve funds that <br /> they have. She asked the board members if they would like to have a report from the director <br /> and if so she will put this on a future agenda. The board members agreed. <br /> McFarland asked if Canvention Visitors Bureau has selected a new directar and Lancaster <br /> stated that they have not made a decision yet. She also stated that they may have to look at <br /> th� salary. She also stated that Midland Area Agency on Aging has a new director Sandy <br /> Stevens. <br /> Mr. Quandt apologized to Mr. Sherlock regarding the allegations against him; he was cleared of <br /> any wrong doing.
