HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING APRIL 12. 2011 <br /> Quandt mad� a motion and Schuppan seconded to ga into a Board of Equalization <br /> m�eting. <br /> ROLL CALL V�T� — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Bud Jeffries was absent. <br /> Also present was County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTIC� OF OPEN MEETING LAW —Vice Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the <br /> open meeting law. <br /> MINUTES �-Purdy made a motion and Quandt seconded to place on file the minutes of <br /> the March 29, 2011 meeting. Arnold, l.ancaster, Quandt, Purdy, Schuppan and Ziola all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Jeffries was absent. Motion carried. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY - CLOSED SESSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC <br /> INTEREST RELATING TO STRATEGY FOR PENDING TAX �QUALIZATION AND <br /> REVIEW COMMIS510N LITIGATION — Deputy County Attarney Jack Zitterkopf <br /> requested an executive session regarding the TERC litigation. <br /> Purdy made a mation and Ziola seconded to go into executive session regarding the <br /> TERC ligation to protect the public interest. Arnold, Lancaster, Quandt, Purdy, <br /> Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Jeffries was absent. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 9:07 a.m. executive session <br /> 9:35 a.m. Quandt made a moti�n and Schuppan seconded to go out of executive <br /> session. Arnold, L.ancaster, Quandt, Purdy, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Jeffries was absent. Motion carried. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded to accept settlement on the following <br /> properties: <br /> Willis Callahan #10R 091 $11,5p0.00 <br /> Andrew Unick #1-R 092 $11,500.00 <br /> Robert Mendez #10R 093 $10,500.00 <br /> Cody Alexander #10R 094 $14,000.00 <br /> Robert Mendez #10R 095 $11,500.00 <br /> All of these are homes that were removed from the Platte Vall�y Academy. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Quandt, Purdy, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none vated no. Jeffries <br /> was absent. Motian carried. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER AND COUNTY ASS�SSOR DISCUSSION ON CONTRACTS <br /> FOR TERRA SCAN — County Treasurer poris Mason and County Assessor Jan Pelland <br /> were present regarding the Terra Scan contract. The Caunty Treasurer contracts <br /> directly with Terra Scan and the Assessar's contract was through the state. The State of <br /> Nebraska has naw changed campanies and is using Tyler Technologies for the software <br /> 1 <br />
