6. 9:30 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING AMUSEMENT L.ICENSES FOR THE <br /> FOLLOWING ESTABLISHMENTS: BOSSELMAN TRAVEL CENTERS INC.; PILOT TRAVEL <br /> CENTER#912; RASOI INC.; TRAVEL CENTERS OF AM�RICA; WOOD RIVER COUNTRY <br /> CLUB; ZANADU INC., DBA/ARBY'S.- Quandt made a motian and Arnold seconded to open the <br /> public hearing. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes <br /> and none voted na. Motion carried. <br /> SherifF Watson stated that the purpose of the amusement license is to monitor activity that is <br /> going on out of the city limits. It offers some oversight and there were other businesses that <br /> needed to camply. He stated that his department contacted all of the businesses and explained <br /> the issues and that it was necessary to bring all of them into compliance. <br /> Arnold stated that if the business qualified under the definition of a road house, specifically if <br /> they sald foad or beverages or offered entertainment and there were 2 of the three issues they <br /> shauld have an amusement license. <br /> Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to close the public hearing. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland Purd , Quandt, Schu an and Ziola all voted es and none voted no. Motion <br /> , Y Pp Y <br /> carried. <br /> Quandt made a motion and McFarland seconded to approve the amusement licenses for <br /> Bossleman Travel Centers Inc., Pilot Travel Center Rasoi Inc, Travel Centers of America and <br /> the Wood River Country Club and Zanadu Inc., dba Arby's. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7. 9:45 A. M. PUBLIC HEARING —AMEND HALL COUNTY BUDGET: A. DISCUSS AND <br /> APPROVE AMENDMENT TO HALL COUNTY BUDGET TO INCLUDE GENERAL <br /> OBLIGATION REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2011 AND 2012 IN TH� JAIL BOND BUDGET. <br /> Lancaster stated that this is necessary because the general abligation bonds were refinanced <br /> and the county budget has to be amended to show that the bonds were paid out. The tax <br /> asking was nat changed. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Arnold seconded to open the public hearing to amend the county <br /> budget. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and <br /> none vated no. Motion carried. ' <br /> Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> Chairman Lancaster called for questions fram the county board and no one responded. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Arnold seconded to close the public hearing regarding the Hall <br /> County budget. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted <br /> yes and nane voted na. Motion carried. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the amendment of the Hall County <br /> budget to include the general abligation r�funding bonds, series 2011 and 2Q12 in the jail bond <br /> budget. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and <br /> non� voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 3 <br />
