Amold made a motion and Quandt secanded to refer the bid opening to the committee and they will come back at ths next regular meeting. PUBLIC HEARING FOR WOOD RIVER RECREATION ASSN DBA WOUD RIVER CCUUNTRY CLUB FOR THE REQUEST FOR A CATERING LIQUOR L,ICENSE Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to open #he public hearing. Amald, l.ancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none vated no. Motion carried. Chairman Lancaster called for public participation. This is an application for a catering license far Wood River Country Club. Information was included in the packets. Arnold stated that they currently have a liquor license and this is ta add the catering license. Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one respond�d. Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to close the public hearing. Amold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, t�uandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted na. Mation carried. Quandt made a motion and Purdy seconded ta approve the catering license for Waod River Country.Club. Amold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS -- Chairman Lancaster called for baard member reparts and na one responded. BDARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT -- Board assistant Stacey Ruzicka reminded Mr. Quandt af the CASA meeting. There will also be a computer committee meeting. She reminded Ms. Lancaster that there is a CAAP project meeting. Discussion was held she will be attending the first meeting with Stuhr meeting tomarrow and will not be attending the meeting at CAAP. There will alsa be an audit committee meeting tamorrow. � I Mr. Ziola questioned if the Register of Deed will be informed of the discussion from today and '� Ms. l.ancaster stated that she would talk to them. NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished business. Arnold stated that he had a phone call abaut drug testing for union emplayees �and there isn't a drug testing policy for nan union emplayees. In the private sector this is common to require drug testing as a condition af employment. Discussion was held and this will be referred ta the personnel committee and they can make a recommendation. This would also have ta be added to #he employee handbook. There wauld also be costs to consider and there needs to be some research. He would like to see it for all everyone and also include the elected afficials. 6
