He is not <br /> sure how aften this has accurred. <br /> Mr. Amold stated that he daesn't think the speed bumps will make �ny difference. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Ziola secanded to not install speed bumps at the Hall Caunty Park. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted r�a. Motion carried. I <br /> 8. 1 f1:3Q A.M. PUBLIC HEARING FOR PETITION FOR AMUSEMENT L.ICENSE FOR THE <br /> EDGE E�AR AND GRILL — Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to open the public <br /> hearing for the amusement license for the Edge Bar and Grill. Amald, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and nane voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Chairman Lancaster called far public participation. This license is necessary and it was <br /> discovered that same af the businesses did not have ane in place. <br /> Deputy County Attomey Jack Zitterkopf was present. He stated that it was not the intention to <br /> pick on any onE location. They are considered to be a road house if they sell foad or drink ar <br /> provide entertainment or have a combination of any two of the activities. It is no different than <br /> having a liquor license there would be the same type of monitoring process. <br /> Arnold stated that the County Sheriff has no problem approving the amusement license. This <br /> will provide a monitoring proc�ss. <br /> Chairman L,ancaster �alled for public participation. <br /> Marie Davidson, 104 Grant, Alda, Nebraska expressed concem that she felt that they were <br /> singled out but she now understands that the licenses just need to be put in place. <br /> Ziola made a mation and Quandt seconded to close the public hearing. Amold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and nane voted no. Motion <br /> earri�d. <br /> Schuppan made a mation and Purdy seconded to approve the amusement license for The Edge <br /> Bar and Grill. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziala all vated yes <br /> and none vated no. Motion carried. <br /> 19. EXECUTIVE SESSION PERFORMANCE EVALUATION - Quandt made a motion and <br /> McFarland seconded to go into executive session for the perFormance evaluation. This <br /> executiv� session is to prevent needles harm or injury to an individual. Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all vated yes and nane voted no. Arnold was absent for the <br /> vote. Motion carried. <br /> Held a 10 minute break. <br /> Arnold made � mation and Quandt seconded to go out of executive session. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> S <br />
