Schuppan stated that the contacts are fram administration. 12 RECEIVE AND PLACE ON FILE LETTER FROM BI.UE KNIGHT SECURITY, INC. TERMINATING THE AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR THE JUVENILE ATTENTION CENTER EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 18, 2Q12 — The board received a letter terminating the agreement because they have not had one juvenile use the center. Lancaster stated that if and when a juvenile is placed in the center it involves a rating system through the probation department before they are sent to a center. Schuppan stated that everything was in place and he cannot believe that there wasn't one person that used the facility. Amald stated when a juvenile is detained there may nat be a lot of middle ground if it is a serious situation they may have ta go to a locked facility ar many times they are released to a family member, so there may be a narrow slot that wauld fit the need of the attention facility. Probation makes the decision where the juvenile is ta be placed. It was the probation office that came here with the acquisitions about the attention center so it was changed and still was not used. Probation makes the call. Quandt stated that he is disappainted that the facility was not used. Quandt made a motion to accept the letter of terminatian and clase the attentian center effectiv� Febrvary 17, 2012. Discussian was held and Ziola amended the motion to notify Robyn Hassel that the additianal campensatian far the attention cent�r will also end. There may be some supplies that will need to be disposed of. This will be referred to the committee. Arnold, Lancaster, Mc�'arland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted na. Motian carried. Stacey Ruzicka stated tha# a committee member will need to talk to Roby Hassel. Scatt Arnold is the chair of the criminal justice committee and he will talk to her. L.ancaster stated that the County mad� every effort ta make this work and now is closed down. They were trying to save money but it was nat used. 14. APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS - The baard members received the board pr�approval and the claims were available for review before the meeting.
