RESOLUTION #12- <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF THE REAL ESTATE LOCATED AT <br /> 1910 WEST 9 T11 STREET, GRAND ISLAND, NE (KNOWN AS CHILDREN'S VILLAGE <br /> PROPERTY), AND AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE HALL COUNTY BOARD <br /> OF SUPERVISORS TO SIGN THE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY <br /> TO COMPLETE THIS TRANSACTION. <br /> WHEREAS, on February 14, 2012, Pamela Lancaster, Chairman of the Hall County Board <br /> of Supervisors, signed a real estate sales agreement for the sale of real estate owned by the County <br /> of Hall, Nebraska, to Beckett, Inc., said real estate located at 1910 West 9 Street, Grand Island, NE <br /> (known as the Children's Village property); and <br /> WHEREAS, on February 28, 2012, the Hall County Board of Supervisors ratified the <br /> aforementioned real estate sales agreement by unanimous vote; and <br /> WHEREAS, the parties to the aforementioned real estate sales contract wish to close the <br /> transaction at the earliest possible date. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Hall County Board of Supervisors hereby <br /> gives its final approval to the sale of the real estate legally described as follows: <br /> All of Block Five (5), Golden Age Subdivision, an Addition to the City of Grand Island, <br /> Hall County, Nebraska, except for the following: Beginning at the northeast corner of said Block <br /> Five (5); thence running west along the north line of said Block Five (5), a distance of Four Hundred <br /> (400.0) feet to the northwest corner of said Block Five (5); thence running south along the east line <br /> of Boggs Avenue a distance of One Hundred Thirty and Seven Tenths (130.7) feet; thence running <br /> southeasterly along the northeasterly line of Boggs Avenue a distance of One Hundred Forty Four <br /> and Five Tenths (144.5) feet; thence deflecting left 90° 02' 30" and running northeasterly, parallel <br /> with the northwesterly line of 9th Street a distance of Two Hundred Forty Five and Eight Tenths <br /> (245.8) feet; thence deflecting right 90° 02' 30" and running southeasterly a distance of One <br /> Hundred Seventy Six and Five Tenths (176.5) feet to a point on the northwesterly line of 9th Street; <br /> thence running northeasterly along the northwesterly line of 9th Street a distance of Three and Fifty <br /> ' Seven Hundredths (3.57) feet to a point on the west line of White Avenue; thence running north <br /> along the west line of White Avenue a distance of One Hundred Eighty Five and Thirty Six <br /> Hundredths (185.36) feet to the point of beginning <br /> to Beckett, Inc. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Hall County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes <br /> its Chairman, Pamela Lancaster, to sign the deed, the real estate transfer statement, the closing <br /> statement and any other documents necessary to complete the transfer of the real estate to the Buyer, <br /> Beckett, Inc. <br /> d1 1 1 1 i I� I 4 1 I 'III <br /> i 1I 1 <br /> 1 '.1 : 1 �' : : i�i 1 ': 1 1 ; I, <br /> 1 1 � 11 1 P I <br /> -11 it II'I',, III I I <br />
