9:05 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> 11:10 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 7. PUBLIC HEARING FOR LIQUOR LICENSE FOR RIVER FRONT GRILL & LOUNGE 7838 S <br /> US HVVY 281 — Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded to open the public hearing. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Lancaster stated that information was included in the packets including a letter from Chief <br /> Deputy Chris Rea regarding the background check and he recommended to approve the <br /> license. <br /> Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. <br /> Lancaster called for questions from the County Board and no one responded. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Purdy seconded to close the public hearing. Amold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Purdy seconded to approve the liquor license for River Front Grill <br /> and Lounge. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes <br /> and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 11:10 a.m. Held a Board of Corrections meeting <br /> 11 :41 a.m. Returned to the regular meeting. <br /> 4. COUNTY ATTORNEY — DISCUSS AND APPROVE A RESOLUTION approving the sale of <br /> 1910 West 9t" Street, Grand Island, Nebraska (the children's village property) to Beckett, Inc. <br /> under a real estate sales agreement dated 2 -14 -2012 and authorizing the Chair of the Hall <br /> County Board to sign the deed, real estate transfer statement and all related closing documents. <br /> — County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf stated that he has prepared a resolution authorizing the Chair <br /> to sign the real estate contract, deed and other paperwork for the closing. They want to close <br /> the sale today. <br /> Gary made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve Resolution #12 -015 Approving the sale of <br /> the real estate located at 1910 East 9 Street, Grand Island, Nebraska and authorized the <br /> Chairman of the Hall County Board of Supervisors to sign the documents necessary to complete <br /> this transaction. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 3 <br />
