COMMUNICATIONS -- Lancaster noted the letter from Sequoia Consulting group regarding the <br /> removal of the indirect cost for the Clerk of the District Court for reimbursement. This is more <br /> lost revenue for the counties. <br /> BOARD MEMBER'S OR COMMITTEE REPORTS — Ziola stated that he attended the NEMA <br /> conference last week. There was information regarding the narrow band radio frequencies. He <br /> stated that Mr. Rosenlund will be giving a presentation regarding this issue. There may be <br /> some cost involved in order to participate in this project. Arnold stated that the narrow bands <br /> will open up more frequencies to be used <br /> Mr. Purdy reported that the facilities committee received another $5,000.00 for the life trail. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT — Board assistant Stacey Ruzicka reminded the board <br /> members of the CASA meeting, Economic Development and the Senior Citizens meeting and <br /> asked the members of the zoning committee to schedule a meeting. <br /> Lancaster stated that it is great the board members want to attend meetings and it is <br /> appreciated but the board's budget is really taking a hit and she expressed concern on the <br /> future meeting. The board members need to be aware of the expenditures. <br /> The following board members will be attending the jail tour. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola and Arnold will not be attending the tour. <br /> The meeting will be adjourned after the jail tour at 1:00 p.m. The next meeting will be February <br /> 28, 2012 at 9:00 a,m. <br /> % , „.„ <br /> Marla J.
