•
Hall County Chaplaincy Corps r
February 1 2005
Director Dave Arnold:
The Grand Island/Hall County Chaplaincy Corps has been providing ministry services to
our public safety personnel, their families and members of our community, who have
been touched by tragedy for over 19 years. We provide rotating 24 hour on -call
volunteer services to the Grand Island Police Department, Hall County Sheriff s Office,
Nebraska State Patrol Troop C, Grand Island Fire Department, Hall County Corrections
and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. We are beneficial to our public safety officers
when assistance is needed in death notifications, loss of life, domestic violence, serious
fire/and or losses in fire, trauma or traumatic injuries, suicides and personal contact with
those employees we serve and their families. Our mission is to provide spiritual support
and guidance, during the time of a crisis and to make connections, as soon as possible,
with the individual's church pastor, if they have a church family.
Our services are funded through general donations from the agencies we serve or KENO .
funds. Funds are needed to support the corps in pagers, education, membership dues and
mateisls to the agencies we serve. We are asking that you please consider a donation of
$100.00 to help support our need, so we may continue our service and support to your
agency.
Should you have any further questions, concerning this support, please feel free to
contact anyone of the chaplains. God Bless you for your time and consideration in our
funding need for the Grand Island/Hall County Chaplaincy Corp.
In Christ's Peace,
Chaplains Organization
Allen Runyon, Chaplain/President
Janet Griffin, Secretary
Gary Bennett, Chaplain/Treasurer
Lonnie Logan, Chaplain
"Supporting Our Community's Public Safety Servants with Spiritual Guidance."
131 S.
