N E <br /> <br />To: Local Media <br />From: Sheriff Watson <br />Date: August 29, 2007 <br /> <br />Reference missirg person Jack Joseph Cavanaugh, the search has concluded. <br /> <br />This mornirg the Hall County Sheriffs Office was contacted by landscapers <br />workirg in the area of hidden lakes reference a possible body in the lake. <br />Confirmation was made that the deceased was Jack Joseph Cavanaugh. <br />The immediate family has been notified. The County Attorney's office has <br />requested an autopsy. <br /> <br />This is a death investigation, and as any other death investigation there are three <br />possibilities, homicide, accident or suicide. At this time this appears to be an <br />accidental death as there are no signs of foul play. The autopsy will simply reveal <br />the facts surroundirg the death for purposes of conformation. <br /> <br />Our condolences to the family durirg this very difficult time. We would ask that <br />members of the media please respect the family and their wishes. <br /> <br />. Page 1 <br />
