<br /> Now on this 12th day af April, A.D. 194�8, this matter ca.me on for hearing on the petition of
<br /> Albert V. Pierce, for the determination of heirship of �he estate of Emily Christena Pierce,
<br /> deceased and was submitted to the court.
<br /> It appearing from the records and f iles in said matter that notice of the time and place
<br /> f ixed for the hearin� on said petition has been given by �ublication thereof as by order of said
<br /> court heretofore made and entered, whereupon the testimony was taken. On consideration of the
<br /> evidence the court finda that said Emily Christena Pierce departed this life _.�.r3testate on the
<br /> 27th day of March, 1941, that the said Emily Christena Pierce was at the date of her death a
<br /> resident and inhabitant of S�arfield County, Nebraska, and died aiezed and poesessed of an estate
<br /> of inheritance in the 3outhwest Quart�r of the Southwest Quarter of Section 11, Townehip 11,
<br /> North,Range 10, We�t of the 6th P.M. , Hall County, Nebraska; that more than two years ha.ve
<br /> elapsed since the date of the death of the said Emily Christena Pierce, and no application for
<br /> the appointment of an adminiatrator of her estate has been made in thia �tate by any heirs or
<br /> p�rsons claimin� to be credltors of said deceased. Tha,t Earl V. Pierce, oP Miller, Nebraska,
<br /> ia the widower of said Emily Chriatena Plerce, and Earl B. Pierce, Panama Canal Zone; Verna
<br /> Franeis, Torrington, Wyoming; Mary E. Dyer, Sumner, Nebraeka; and Albert V. Pierce, of arand
<br /> Island, Nebraska, all of le�al age, are the sole and only heirs of her estate. That the value
<br /> of said estate will not exceed the sum of �2000.00, and that neither said estate nor any portion
<br /> of it is sub�ect to inheritance tax.
<br /> IT IS CONSIDERED AND ADJUDGED that the surviving apouse,- Earl V. Pieree be asgigned one=third
<br /> interest in said premises, and tha,t the remainder of said estate be assigned as follows: to Earl
<br /> B. Pierce, a son, one-sixth interest; to Verna Francis, a daughter, one-eixth interest; to Mary
<br /> E. Dyer, a daughter, one-siath interest; and to Albert V. Pierce, a son, one-sixth intereat.
