<br />DECREE DISPENSING WITH
<br />ADI,IildlSTRATION.
<br />Now on this 13th day of November,1916, this cause came on for
<br />hearing upon the petition of .lames V. Goddard and Charity T!IcKnight for a decree dispensing with
<br />administration of tale estate of Lucy Goddard and for determination of heirship, and the evidence
<br />which was reduced to writing and is now on file was submitted to the court.
<br />On consideration whereof the court finas that notice of tee time and place fixed for the
<br />.hearing on said petition has been given by publication thereof for three successive weeks in the
<br />;Grand Island Independent, as oraered by the court; that said Lucy Goddard died at Grand Island,
<br />;Nebraska, on the 11th day of September, 1916, and that she died intestate; that the following
<br />named persons are t =ne sole heirs at law of said Lucy Goddard; Tames V. Goddard, her husband, age
<br />36, and residing at Grand =island, Nebraska, and Charity McKnight, her mother, aged 67, and resid-
<br />ing at Gra: d Island, Nebraska; that said Lucy Goddard died seized of an estate of inheritar,ce in
<br />:the following described real estate, to -wit: Lot Nine (9), in Block Six (6), in Gilbert's See-
<br />!ond Addition to Grand Island, the same being situate in said City of Grand Island ana County of
<br />;Hall and State of Nebraska; tinat said real estate was at the date of her death occupied by the
<br />said Lucy Goddard and her farr,ily as a homestead ana does riot exceed in value the sum of two tnous-
<br />;and uollurs; that said real estate is not liable for the payment of any of the debts of said de-
<br />'ceaseu anu was woolly exempt from attacnirient, execution or other mesne process aria passed to the
<br />'heirs ut law free from all liens anu encumbrances except such as existed prior to the date of the
<br />death of said Lucy Goadara, and subject to the lnomesteaa rig ,iat of the said James V.Goddard.
<br />It is therefore consiuered anu aajuu.g;ed by tine court that administration of said estate be
<br />dispensed win anu that the reel estate above described be awarded to t.rie following; named persons,
<br />the sole heirs at law of tae said Lucy Goddard, as tenants in common:
<br />To Jaynes V. Goddard, hus-bar of said Lucy Goddard, 36 years of age and residing in Grand is-
