i~~ ORDINANCE N0. b493 An ordinance creating Sanitary Sewer District No. 448 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska; defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the laying of a sanitary sever main in said district; providing for plans and specifications and securing bids; providing for the assessment of special taxes for constructing such sewer and collection ` thereof; and to provide for the effective dace thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Sanitary Sewer District No. 448 of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created for the laying,of an eight-inch, or 20.32 centimeters, vitrified clay or polyvinalchioride plastic pips, line, and appurtenances thereto. SfiCTION 2. The boundaries of such sanitary sewer district shall be as follow Beginning at a point on the north line of Twelfth Street, said point being 21.2 feet, or 6.462 meters, East of the Easc line of kfeal Street; thence '.-unning South on the North prolongation of the East line of Bcal Street located South of Twelfth Scraet and on the EAst Iine of Beal Street for a etanor D 252.38 feat, or 76.925 meters, eo the North line of Pleasant Hill Addition; thence running West on the North line of staid add itior. for a distance of 185 feet, or 56.388 meters, to the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 2, of said addition; thence running South on the [Jost Zinc of said Lat 1 for a distance of 20 feet, or 6.096 mece-s; thence running West on a line parallel CD and 20 feet, or 6.046 meters, South aE the North line of Pleasant }till Addition for a distance of I2 feet, or 3.658 meters, to the East Iine of Loc 24, Black 2, of said addition; thence mm~inF North on the East line of said Lot 14 far a distance of 20 feet, or 6.096 meters, to the North line of said addition; thence running West on the North line of said addition for a distance of 125 feet, or 38.100 meters, to cite East line o€ Poplar Street; thence running North on Lhe East line of Poplar Street and the North prolongation of the Easc line of Poplar Street far a distance o€ 252.380 feet, or T6.925 meters, to the North line of Twelfth Street; thence running East on the North tine of Twelfth Street for a distance of 324 feet, or 98.755 meters, to the point of beginning, all as shown on Che plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reFerence. SECTION 3. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with clans and specifications prepared by the Eaylineer for the City who shall estimate the cost thereof, and submit the aasue to the City Council, and upon approval of the same, bids far the construction of such sanitary sewer shall be taken and contracts entered into fa the manner provided by lsw. - SEGTY9N ~.
