I am a Diocesan Bishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South <br />America. <br /> <br />2. I am Bishop of the Greek Orthodox Diocese of Denver. <br /> <br />3. The State of Nebraska is within the jurisdiction of my Diocese. <br /> <br />4. The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America headquartered in <br />New York, is a hierarchal church and as such all parishes adhering to this faith <br />are under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese and particular diocese within which <br />a parish is located. <br /> <br />5. All parishes ofthe Greek Orthodox Archdiocese are subject to the uniform parish <br />regulations. <br /> <br />Article II, section 3 of such regulations provide in part: <br /> <br />"The parish may purchase real property, or sell, mortgage or otherwise encumber <br />its real property upon approval of two thirds ofthe members present at a Parish <br />Assembly duly called for that purpose upon ten days written notice and <br />subsequent consent of the Diocesan Bishop in consultation with the Diocesan <br />Council." <br /> <br />(Emphasis added) <br /> <br />6.
