86-- 107214 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7313 <br />An ordinance creating Water Main District No. 378 in the <br />City of Grand Island, Nebraska; defining the boundaries of the <br />district; providing for the laying of a water main in said <br />district; providing for plans and specifications and securing <br />bids; providing for the assessment of special taxes for <br />constructing such water main; and providing the effective date <br />hereof. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: <br />SECTION 1. Water Main District No. 378 in the City of <br />Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created for the laying of a <br />twelve inch water main with its appurtenances in Johnstown <br />Drive and in Claude Road, and an eight inch water main with <br />its appurtenances in Arch Avenue. <br />SECTION 2. The boundaries of such water main district <br />shall be as follows: <br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 34, Reuting's <br />First Subdivision;; thence northerly along the westerly <br />line of said Reuting's First Subdivision and its <br />extension a distance of 878.8 feet; thence northwest - <br />erly parallel and 163.0 feet distant from the westerly <br />right -of -way line of Johnstown Road a distance of 678.2 <br />feet to the southerly right -of -way line of Highway No. <br />30; thence northeasterly along the southerly right -of -way <br />line of said Highway No. 30 a distance of 1,473.7 feet to <br />the westerly line of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of <br />Section 24, Township Eleven (11) North, Range Ten (10) <br />West of the 6th P.M.; thence northerly along the westerly <br />line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) a distance of 6.2 <br />feet; thence deflecting right 60 degrees 33 minutes, and <br />northeasterly along the southerly right -of -way line of <br />said Highway No. 30 a distance of 140.2 feet to a point <br />of deflection; thence continuing along the southerly <br />right -of -way line of said Highway No. 30 a distance of <br />175.4 feet; thence deflecting right 85 degrees and south- <br />easterly a distance of 184.75 feet;; thence deflecting <br />right 90 degrees and southwesterly a distance of 169.0 <br />feet; thence southerly parallel and 200.0 feet East of <br />the westerly line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) a <br />distance of 617.7 feet to the southerly line of said <br />Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4); thence westerly along the <br />southerly line of said Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) a <br />distance of 200.0 feet to the center of said Section 24; <br />thence southerly along the easterly line of the south- <br />west Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 24 -11 -10 a distance of <br />450.0 feet; thence westerly parallel to the northerly <br />line of said Southwest Quarter (Sw 1/4) a distance of <br />163.0 feet to the easterly line of Lot 1, Grand Island <br />j Industrial Foundation Subdivision; thence northerly along <br />to <br />the the sNortheast line <br />corner 1ofLsaid Lot lltathence westerly ^et <br />I <br />
