The CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a municipal corporation, by <br />action of its City Council on September 24, 2002, enacted Ordinance No. 8776, which directed <br />the conveyance of the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof. <br />2. Ordinance No. 8776 was published in the Grand Island Independent according to <br />law on September 30, 2002, and notice of such sale and the terms thereof were published in the <br />Grand Island Independent for three successive weeks on October 1, October 8, and October 15, <br />2002, all as required by § 16 -202, R.R.S. 1943. <br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of the City of <br />Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication of Ordinance No. <br />8776. <br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 8776 provides that if no remonstrance is filed against <br />such conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, execute, and deliver to Doug Petersen, a <br />quit claim deed for said real estate, and the execution of such deed is hereby authorized without <br />further action on behalf of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a municipal <br />corporation, in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Three Thousand Five <br />Hundred Seventy Dollars ($3,570.00) received from Grantee, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, <br />convey, and confirm unto <br />DOUGLAS R.
