The CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a municipal corporation, by <br /> action of its City Council on August 9, 1999, enacted Ordinance No. 8502, which directed the <br /> conveyance of the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof. <br /> 2. Ordinance No. 8502 was published in the Grand Island Independent according to <br /> law on August 16, 1999, and notice of such sale and the terms thereof were published in the <br /> Grand Island Independent for three successive weeks on August 17, August 24, and August 31, <br /> 1999, all as required by Neb. Rev. Stat. §16-202 (1996 Cum. Supp.). <br /> 3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of the City of <br /> Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication of Ordinance No. <br /> 8502. <br /> 4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 8502 provides that if no remonstrance be filed against <br /> such conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, execute and deliver to the Grantee, a <br /> Warranty Deed for said real estate, and the execution of such deed is hereby authorized without <br /> further action on behalf of the City Council. <br /> 5. The consideration of said transaction shall be Sixty Nine Thousand Dollars <br /> ($69,000) and terms and conditions as set out in the Contract of Sale. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a municipal <br /> corporation, as Grantor, for consideration identified above received from Grantee, does hereby <br /> grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto <br /> JONELL ANN VOGT, <br /> a single person, herein called the Grantee, the following described real property in the City of <br /> Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska: <br />
