<br /> � KNOVJ ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
<br /> That, the City of Grand Island, a municipal corporation of
<br /> the County of Hall, and State of Nebraska, for the consideration
<br /> of the sum of Eighty Dollars ($80.00), does hereby uuit Claim and
<br /> �, convey unto Louis J. Caloud and Lillie Caloud, husband and wife,
<br /> as joint tenants and not as tenants in common, of the County of
<br /> Hall and �tate of Nebraska, all its right, title, and interest of
<br /> � whatsoever nature, in and to the following described real estate,
<br /> situated in the County of Hall and State of Nebraska, to-wit :
<br /> Lot Eighty-Seven (87) in i�destlawn, an addition to the city
<br /> of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br /> Together with all and singular the hereditaments thereunto be-
<br /> longing.
<br /> TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above �escribed premises unto the
<br /> said Louis J. Caloud and Lillie Caloud, husband and wife, as
<br /> joint tenants and not as tenants in common, their heirs and �
<br /> assigns; so that neither the city of Grand Island, the said !
<br /> � grantor, nor any person in its name and behalf, shall or will ',
<br /> hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the said
<br /> premises or any part thereof, but they and every one of them
<br /> shall by these presents be excluded 'and forever barred.
<br /> It being the intention of all parties hereto, that in the
<br /> event of the death of one of said grantees, the entire fee
<br /> simple ti�le shall vest in the surviving grantee.
<br /> It is understood and agreed that the grantor shall not be
<br /> required to furnish an abstract of title and that the grantees
<br /> shall pay the costs incurred by the City of Grand Island in
<br /> publishing ordinances and notices in connection with the sale
<br /> of the land herein d escribed. �

<br /> This conveyance is made by virtue of Ordinance No. 2156 duly
<br /> ' enacted by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Grand Island,
<br /> Nebraska, on the 23rd day of October, 1947, certified to on
<br /> December 4, 1947, and filed for reeord in the office of the
<br /> Register of Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska, December 4, 1947, in ;
<br /> ' Book "V", page 214, wherein the city of Grand Island ratified and
<br /> ' vonfirmed the sale of said Lot Eighty-Seven (87), in ��rlestlawn to
<br /> ; said grantees, Louis J. Caloud and Lillie Caloud, previously made
<br /> t on�the lSth day o f NTay, 1946, acknowledged Nlay 16, 1946, and
<br /> ! filed for record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hall
<br /> County, Nebraska, on June 7, 1946, in Book 89 of Deeds, at page
<br /> 279.
<br /> IN WITNESS `n1�rIEREOF, the Grantor, the City of Grand Island, in
<br /> Hall County, Nebraska, has caused these presents to be signed by
<br /> its Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk and has caused �the
