<br /> REFEREE 'S DEED
<br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
<br /> WHEREAS, in an action of partition pending in the District Court of
<br /> Hall County, Nebraska, wherein Russell L. Geer and Mabel Geer were plaintiffs,
<br /> and the heirs, devisees, legatees, personal representatives and all other persons
<br /> interested in the estate of Ruth Hinsen Geer, deceased, real names unknown;
<br /> Georgie McClay et al were defendants, for the partition of premises hereinafter
<br /> described the undersigned referee, appointed by said court to make partition of
<br /> the real estate, made report in writing, duly signed, setting forth that partition
<br /> of certain portions of said real esta.te could be made in kind, and that partition of
<br /> the land hereinafter described could not be made without great prejudice to the
<br /> owners thereof, which report was duly examined by the court, and said court being
<br /> satisfied therewith, confirmed the same and thereupon made an order and caused
<br /> the same to be entered, directing me as said referee to sell the premises herein-
<br /> after described at public auction in the corridor of the Courthouse in Grand Island,
<br /> Hall County, Nebrask�., for cash.
<br /> Iri pursuance of said order, I caused a notice to be published in the Grand
<br /> Island Daily Independent, a newspaper printed and in general circulation in Hall
<br /> County, Nebraska, that I would offer said land for sale in the corridor oi the Court-
<br /> house in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, on the 6th day of July, i�55, at
<br /> 2 o'clock P. M. , and at the time and place stated in said notice, and after said
<br /> notice had been published for more than thirty days, I offered for sale the fol-
<br /> lowing described premises, to-wit:
<br /> Fractional Lot Nine (9), in Fractional Block Forty-eight (48)
<br /> in Subdivision of Blocks Forty-eight (48) and Forty-nine (49}
<br /> of Wasmer's Third Addition and its complement, Lot Seventeen
<br /> {17) in Block Three (3) in Parkhill Subdivision, an Addition to
<br /> the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska
<br /> e.nd sold the Same to Russell L. Geer for the sum of Twenty-five Hundred ($2, 500. 00)
<br /> Dollars, he being the highest bidder therefor. And afterwards, on the 8th day of July,
<br /> 1955, said court approved and confirmed said sale, and by an order directed me as
<br /> referee to execute to said Russell L. Geer a deed conveying said lands to him in fee
<br /> simple.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, Donald H. Weaver, referee, in consideration of
<br /> the premises and the sum of Twenty-five Hundred ($2, 500. 00) Dollars so bid and
<br /> paid by said Russell L. Geer, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do
<br /> by these presents grant, sell and convey unto the said Russell L. Geer and to his
<br /> heirs and assigns the real estate described as follows:
<br /> Fractional Lot Nine (9), in Fractianal Block Forty-eight (48}
<br /> • in Subdivision of Blocks Forty-eight (48) and Forty-nine (49)
<br /> of Wasmer's Third Addition and its complement, Lot Seventeen
<br /> (17) in Block Three (3) in Parkhill Subdivision, an Addition to
<br /> the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, with all the
<br /> appurtenances thereunto belonging, to have and to hold the same
<br /> to him, the said Russell L. Geer, and to his heirs and assigns
<br /> forever.
