<br /> BE IT ORDAINF.D BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THF CI'TY OF GRAND ISLAND, NFBRASKA;

<br /> SECTION 2, The manner and terms of said sale of such real estate are as follows: The purchaser has agreed to
<br /> pay the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000) for said premises and has gaid the entire amo�ant thereof to the City of
<br /> Grand Island, The city is to convey said premises by a Quit Claim Deed and the City shall not be required to furnish
<br /> an Abstract of Title.
<br /> SF,CTIOA' 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms thereof shatl be published for three consecutive
<br /> weeks in the Grand IsZand Daily In.dependent, a. newspaper published in and of general circulation in the City of Gran.d
<br /> Island. Nehraska, immediately after the passage and publication of this ordina.nce; and the City Clerk is hereby
<br /> directed and instructed to prepare and publish said notice.
<br /> SECTIC�It' 4. Authority is hereby granted to the electors of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, to fiZe a rerr�onstrance
<br /> a.gainst the sale of the within described real estate; and if a remonstrance against the sal.e signed by legal eledtors
<br /> of said City equal i.n number to thirty per cent (3C�) of the electors of the City of Grand Island, voting at �he
<br /> last regular election held in said City be filed with the City Council within thirty days after the passage and
<br /> pub.lication of this ordinance, such property shall not then, nor within one year thereafter be sold.
<br /> SECTIOh 5. The sale of said real estate is hereby directed, authorized and confirmed; and if no remonstrance be
<br /> filed against such s�le, the President of the �ity Cpuncil and City Clerk shalJ. make, executed, and deliver to The
<br /> Methodist Church of Grand Island, Nebraska of the County of Hall and State of Nebraska, a Quit Claim Deed for said
<br /> property and the execution of said deed is hereby. authorized without further action on behalf of the City Council.
<br /> SF,CTION 6, 'Tfiis ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approva.l and publication
<br /> as providec� by law.
