<br /> An Ordinance directing and authorizing the sale af the real estate described as Lot Eighteen (18), Block Four (4),
<br /> in Ashton Place, an Additior� to zhe City of Grand Isla.nd, Hall County, Nebraska, belonging to the said City of Grand
<br /> Island, ta Myron E. Qlson a.nd Anna L. Olson, husband and wife; providi.ng for the giving of notice of the sale of such
<br /> real estate and giving the terms of such sale; and, providin� for the right to file a remonstrance against the sale
<br /> thereof.
<br /> BF IT ORDAII�TED BY Tfif; CTTY COUNCIL OF TIiE CITY OF GRAND ISLAI�'D, NFBRASKA:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the sale of the real esta:te descri.bed as Lot Fighteen (18), Block Four (4), in Ashton Place, an
<br /> Addition to the Cit3* of Grar�d Island., Hall County, Nebraska, beloiiging *,� the said City of Grand Island, Nebraska, to
<br /> Myron E. Olsotx and Anna L, Olsan, husband and wife, be and the same is hereby directed, authorized and confirmed.
<br /> SECTION 2. The ma.nner and terms of sai.d sale of such real estate are as follows; The purchasers, Myron r..
<br /> Olson and Anna L. Olson, husband and wife, have agreed to pap One Thousand Two Hundred ($1200.00) Dollars for the
<br /> within descri.bed real estate and have paid the sum of Sixty ($60.00) Dollars as down payment thereon, and the balance
<br /> of One Thousand One Hundred Forty ($1140.00) Dollars will be paid in. full ugan the execution and delivery of a Quit
<br /> Claim Deed by the City of purchasers, The City shall not be required to furnish an Abst:act of Title.
<br /> SFCTIO?�' 3. As provided by law, notice of such sale and the terms thereof shall be published for three consecutive
<br /> weeks in the C.ra.nd Island Daily I�dependent, a newsgaper published in and of �eneral circulation iri the City of Grand
<br /> Isl�.nd, Nebra.ska, i.mmediately after the passage and publication of this erdinance; and the City Clerk is hereby directed
<br /> and instructed to prepa.re and publish said notice.
<br /> SECTIQN 4. Authority is hereby granted to the electors of the City of Grand Island, rebraska, to file a remonstrance
<br /> a�ainst the sale of the withi.r. descri'�ed rea]. estate; and if a remonstrance against the sale signed by legal electors
<br /> of said Ci�y equal in ntunber t� thirty per cent (30�io') ef the electors of the City of Grand Island, voting at the last
<br /> regular election held in said City be filed with the City Counczl within thirty daps after the passage and publication
<br /> of this ordi.nance, such property shall not then, nor within one year thereafter be sold.
<br /> SFCTION S. The sale of said real estate is hereby directed, authorized and confirme�l; and if no remonstrance
<br /> be filed against such sale, the President of the City Council and City Clerk shall make, execute, and deliver to
<br /> Myron E. Olson and Anna L: Olson, husband and wife, a Quit Claim Deed for said property and the execution of said
<br /> deed is herebp authorized r�ithout further action on behalf of the City Council.
<br /> SF,CTIOn' 6. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect; from and after its passage, approval and publication
<br /> as provided by law,
