<br /> An ordfna.nce authorizing and directing the sale of certain real estate belonging to the City of
<br /> Grand Island, Nebra�ka; nroviding the manner in which the same shall be sold and the terms of said
<br /> sale; providing for the giving of notice o� the sale of said real estate and the terma thereof; and,
<br /> providing for the right to file a remonatrance against the sale thereof si�ned by legal electors of
<br /> the City of Gra.nd Islana, Nebra.ska, equal in number to thirty per.;cent t3o ) of the eZectors oP sald
<br /> City, voting at the last regular municipal election held in said City.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COU1�fCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: � "
<br /> SECTION l. The sale and conveyance of real estate hereinafter described is hereby directed and
<br /> authorized to Jack Ennis oP the City oP Grand Island, Nebraska.
<br /> The praperty directed and authorized to be conveyed is described as follows: .

<br /> estate and has paid to the City Clerk of the City of Grand Island the sum of Twenty-Pive ��25.00�
<br /> Dollars as a do«n n�yment therefor, and the balance of One Hundred Fifty (�$7.50.00) Dollars wi7.l be
<br /> paid in full upon the execution and delivery of a Quit Claim Deed by the City to the purchaser. The
<br /> City shall not be required to furnish an Abstract of Title.
<br /> SECTICN 3. As provided by law, natieP of such sP.le and the terrns ther eof shall be published Por
<br /> three consecutive weeka in the Gr�.nd Island Daily Independent, a newspap�er, published in �nd oP
<br /> general circulation in the City oP Grand Island, Nebrask�, immediately after the passage and publ�ca-
<br /> tion of this ordinance; and the City Clerk is hereby directed and instru cted to prepare and publish
<br /> said notice.
<br /> SECTION �. Authority is hereby granted to the e�ectore of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, to
<br /> file a remonstrance �.gainst the sale oP the within described real estate; and if a remonstrance �
<br /> against such s�le signed by legal electors oP said City equ�,l in number to thirty per cent (30�)
<br /> of the electors of the City of Grand Island, voting at the last regular election held in said City
<br /> be filed with the Mayor and City Council within thirty days aPter the passage and publication of
<br /> this ordinance, such property shall not then, nor .within one year thereaPter be sald.
<br /> SECTION 5. The s�le of said re�l estate is hereby directed, authorized a.nd cor�firmed; and if
<br /> no remonstrance be filed against such sale, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, ex?cute, and
<br /> deliver to Jack Ennis a Quit Claim Deed for said property and the execution of said deed is hereby
<br /> authorized without Purther action on behalf of the City Couneil.
<br /> SECTION 6. Thie ordinance sh�,ll be in force and take effect from and after its passage, �pproval
<br /> and bublication as provided by law.
