<br /> KNOW ALL MER� BY THESE PRESENTS: That 1lhereas, in an action in the District Court of the Eleventh
<br /> Judicial District of Nebraska,within and f'or Hall County,wherein ���alter A.Knicely, as Executor� of
<br /> the .�Till and Estate of Samuel L.Rife, deceased, is Plaintiff, and Elizabeth Kindig and George Klndig ',
<br /> are Defendants, it was by said Court at the September Term thereof,A.D.�939, to-wit, on the 27th day
<br /> of October A.D.i939, considered, ad,judged,and decreed that in default of the payment to the Clerk
<br /> of the District Court of the �osts of. said action,and to the plaintiff the sum oP $4, 313. 50,with
<br /> interest thereon from October 27, 1939 at 9� per annum within twenty days from the date of such
<br /> ,�udgment �.nd decree, that the equity of redemption of each and all of said defendants in and to the
<br /> lands and tenements hereinafter described be foreclosed and forever barred, a.nd that the SherifP oP
<br /> said Ha11 County cause the lands and tenements hPreinafter described to be advertised, anc� sold
<br /> accordin� to law; and wher•eas the sald defendants having made default therein Daniel Sanders, as
<br /> Sheriff of said County,under and by virtue of the order of said Court to him directed, did, on the
<br /> 31st day of August A.D.19�O, at the north door of the Court House in the city of Grand Island, Neb-
<br /> raska, in said County of Hall, ( the same being the piace wherein the Diatrict Court was last held in
<br /> said County) ,having first given due and legal notice of the time and place of said sale, for not
<br /> less than thirty days prior �hereto, in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper print-
<br /> ed and in general circulation in said County of Hall, sell tkie said premises at public a.uction to
<br /> ':-�Jalter A.Knicely, as �:xecutor of the ti+?ill and Estate of Samuel L.Rife, deceased, (he being the high-
<br /> est and best bi�der therefor) for the sum of Four-thousand----00�100 DOLLARS,which sale was after
<br /> wards at the February Term of said Court,A.�.19�-O, examined �.nd confirmed, and the said Daniel Sand-
<br /> ers, a.s Sheriff of said County,was ordered ta execute a deed of said premises to the said Walter A.
<br /> Knicely, as Executor of the `uJill and Estate of Sa.muel L.Rife, deceased,
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, I, the said Daniel Sanders, as Sheriff of Hall County, Nebraska, in pursuance of the
<br />' order of sa.id Court, as aforesaid, in consideration of the premises, any by virtue of the powers in
<br /> me vested by law, do hereby give, grant, and convey unto the said �Talter A.Knicely, as Executor of the.
<br /> Will and Esta.te of Samuel L.Rife, deceased, and assigns, the premises sold as aforesaid, to-wit:
<br /> All oP Southwest Quarter (SW4) of Section 26, Toumship 9 North,Ra.nge 10 `�est of the 6th P.M. , Hall
<br /> County with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, to have and to hold unto him
<br /> the said ,�lalter A.Knicely, as Executor of the Will and Estate of Samuel L.Rife, deceased, and his
<br />� heirs and assigns forever.
