<br /> AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the sale of real estate belonging �o the city of Grand
<br /> Island, Nebraska, descr3.bed as �he East Ha1f of Lot Two (2) in Fract3.ona1 Block Eigh�een (18)
<br /> of Rollins' Addition in the City of Grand Tsland, Hall County, Nebraska, to Clarence J. McSntosh
<br /> of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska; giving the terms and conditions of such sa1e; providing
<br /> for the giving of not�.ce of sa3d sale and providing for the right ��a file a remonstrance against
<br /> the sale of �uch real estate.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the sale and conveyance of tne real estate described as:

<br /> SECTT�N 3. As provided by 1aw, notice of such sale and the terma thereof shall be published
<br /> for three conaecu�ive weeks in �he Grand Island Daily Zndepend�nt, a newspaper publiehed in and
<br /> of general circulation in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, iramediately af ter the passage and
<br /> publica�ion of this ordinanee; and the City Clerk is hereby direeted and instrueted to prepare
<br /> and publish aaid no'�ice.
<br /> SECTION 4�. Authority is hereby granted to the el�etors of the City of Grand Island,
<br /> Nebraska, to fil� a remons'�rance aga�nst �he sal� of the wi'�hin described real estate; and if
<br /> a remonstrance against the sale of such r�a2 estate signed by legal. electors of �aid City equal
<br /> in number �o thirty per een� (30�) of the elec�ors of the City of Grand Island, voting :at��the
<br /> last regular e1ec�Gion held in �aid C�ty b� filed with the Mayor and City Council within thirty
<br /> days after the passage and publication of this ordinance such property shall not �hen, nor within
<br /> one y�ar thereafter be sold. ,
<br /> SECTION �. The sale of said real estate is hereb,y direeted, authorized and confirmed; and
<br /> if no remonstrance be filed against such sa1e, �Che Mayor and City Clerk, shall make, execute,
<br /> and deliver to Clarence J. McTntosh of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a Quit Claim Deed
<br /> f or said real estate and the execution of said deed is hereby author3.zed.
